Manu Samoa Trialists Named

Almost 100 hopefuls to play for Manu Samoa's 2009 campaign will showcase their talents tomorrow at three trial games at Apia Park.

Manu Samoa Head Coach, Fuimaono Tafua is quietly confident that the trials containing a good mix of overseas and local players will give him and his coaching staff a very competitive team to contest the ANZ Pacific Nations Cup kicking off with the game against the Junior All Blacks here in Apia on 12 June 2009.

The teams named after Samoan warrior twins Tuna and Fata contain an exciting pool of over 80 players from around the globe and coaching
expertise to boot. Tuna is coached by Papaliitele Peter Fatialofa and Pitoaso Malifa while Tuna by ex-Manu players Nuafesili Tavita Sio and
Leu Fesola'i Ulia.
