Upolu Samoa make it 3 in a row. Apia Park was treated to a thriller game with the lead changing hands many times, the difference was speedster Timoteo Iosua who scored two fantastic tries for the locals. The defending Pacific Rugby Cup champions Upolu Samoa won the epic battle 13-8 over the visiting Fiji Warriors.

The opening 40 had action a plenty, Gasolo Salima smashed his way over the tryline only to touch the corner flag before grounding. Moments later, Upolu's Taligatulu Moala crashed over the tryline only to be held up. Upolu continued its relentless attack and Filipo Levi powered over the tryline but knocked on before grounding. This heat continued and again Upolu blew another scoring opportunity when Iosua dropped the ball five metres from the tryline. The visiting Warriors clung on for dear life and walked into the sheds for halftime 8-0 ahead.

However, the second half was a complete turnaround for the Warriors. Instead of scoring points, Upolu held them to none.

Iosua made came to the party quickly in the second half when he chased a Simaika Mika chip kick to score in the corner. Roger Warren missed the conversion and the Warriors stayed three points ahead. Lolo Lui tied the game moments later sending the match into a thriller with 5 minutes left on the clock.

Uale Mai dazzled all with a sneaky chip kick in a tackle to see Salima recover and throw a floating pass off to Iosua, who with too much speed, sprinted to the tryline to edge the Warriors out.
