PNC- Japan & Fiji head to Samoa
The Japanese & Fijian teams have jetted into Samoa after their torrid encounter yesterday, waiting for them is some serious Pacific might.
Feeling all bruised and battered after the test yesterday, the Japanese & Fijian teams took the 1am flight to Samoa for the remainder of the PNC. The 2 camps on board will have plenty to ponder as they face the 2 other heavy weights in the Pacific. Hosts Samoa will be keen to impress in front of their home crowd, as well as reverse the beatings they received in the recent PRC.
The other side in the PNC is Tonga, they play with power and sheer body size will make sure that everyone they play will know to watch out for the red jersey flying at them. Isatola Maka has them well drilled and a year or so out from the RWC teams will want to start making a statement.
Game 2 of the PNC gets underway today in Apia when Tonga take on the hosts. We will bring you match reports, but for now check out the video interviews and reactions from the Fiji coach and captain below.
