PNC- Maori on alert for Samoa
New Zealand Maori Coach Donny Stevenson and Assistant Coach Milton Haig have named the New Zealand Maori team for the IRB Pacific Nations Cup match against Manu Samoa at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton on Saturday 21 June.
Stevenson said: “This is the halfway mark of the competition and we have selected an experienced team for this crucial game. While we have won our first two matches so far, we still need to improve our game.”
The Maori have just cruised along so far not firing too much at all, they have still won but will have to up the tempo if they want to see off a wounded Samoa. The Island team is literally in the blues at the moment, 2 loses will see fire in their belly and the tackle area will be very interesting when these 2 teams collide.
