Laying down the challenge is NZ
New Zealand have laid down the challenge to the world in 7s in the past year, going down in Adelaide was their first loss for a long time and this will be sure to put venom in their game for London. South Africa was the team to topple them and must feel confident to finish this season with more highs, Samoa and Fiji will again be dangerous and on their day can cause upsets. It seems a mere formality that NZ will again claim the World Sevens trophy, without 7s sensation Victor Vito they lack a bit of grunt and will need the backs to create new angles for victory.
New Zealand's opening pool A match is against Argentina at 8pm Saturday (NZtime).
Team: Tomasi Cama, Edwin Cocker , Israel Dagg, DJ Forbes , Nigel Hunt, Tafai Ioasa, Chad Tuoro, Zar Lawrence, Kendrick Lynn, Ben Nowell, Lote Raikabula, Nafi Tuitavake.
