20080506 samoa news 1The Chairman of the Samoa Rugby Union has endorsed the Manu Samoa Sevens team list for the 4th leg of the IRB Sevens Circuit in London and Edinborough. Coach Galumalemana says that the boys have been training hard and are focused on improving their position in the Sevens circuit with an eye on reaching the finals for both tournaments.

The Samoan team has been able to push New Zealand and South Africa very hard in the last two legs of the sevens series, the hopes will be pinned on the aggressive defence and outright pace they possess. With Uale Mai controlling the play Samoa will again be very very hard to beat and as we found out last year the last games of the World Series always has some surprises.

The Manu Samoa Sevens Team will depart for London next week on Saturday 17th May 2008.
