PNC: Judicial Hearing outcomes from Round 3 match Japan v Fiji
Following the issue of two red cards and a citing by IRB appointed Citing Commissioner Sitiveni Kunaika at the IRB Pacific Nations Cup Round 3 Test between Japan and Fiji, three Judicial Hearings were held on the evening of 13 July 2011 at the Tanoa International Hotel, Nadi, Fiji.
All three hearings were heard by IRB appointed Judicial Officer Mosese Naivalu. The decisions handed down by the Judicial Officer were:
· Mr Sisa Koyamaibole was found guilty of a Dangerous Tackle and suspended for two weeks. He is able to resume rugby activity on 28 July.
· Mr Waisea Luveniyali was found guilty of a Dangerous Tackle and suspended for four weeks. He is able to resume rugby activity on 11 August.
· Mr Seru Rabeni was found guilty of a Dangerous tackle and the Judicial Officer deemed the red card to be sufficient.
